Brian's Place
------------------------------------------------------------

My Story
I was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin...a great place to grow up.  I could go hiking in the Kettle Moraine State Forest, swimming, fishing, and boating on the area lakes.

One day when I was five years old my older brother was transmitting on his HAM Radio or Amateur radio kit (Shortwave) in his upstairs bedroom.  I heard his voice on my parents’ stereo and I thought that was really cool!  This is how I ended up on a path into the world of radio broadcasting.

As a child I built a little station using a Mr. Microphone as my transmitter and put it at the highest point of my parents house.  It could be received about a block away which I thought was very cool and lots of fun!  I did this up until I attended college.

I attended college at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater where I had a daily show on the campus station (91.7 WSUW.)

After a couple of years on campus I moved on to the real world of professional radio broadcasting. I've had the pleasure of working all over Wisconsin at great radio stations from Milwaukee to Green Bay and Madison to Eau Claire.  I even worked in television for a couple of years at Channel 57 in Madison.  I also found the time to work in sales for a printing company and I started my own voice production company.
I'm happy to be back in Milwaukee on 95.7 and you can enjoy my show Monday through Friday from 2-7pm.
